I was there for work. I the room was nice. The gym could use some more equipment.
Not too bad for a budget hotel. The goods: beautiful view, easy walk to shopping and restaurants (5-6 minutes), hotel seems in good shape with a few minor flaws like scuff marks and loose carpet fibers in some spots. Otherwise very comfortable. Beautiful views of the mountains. Quiet and peaceful. The bads: parking is a challenge as the lot is small and it costs $12 for the privilege. Breakfast is expensive if eaten on site. The gentleman serving breakfast got a little confused with our order and missed a few items, but he was friendly. The beds are hard and tough to sleep in. My family travels all year long to dozens of hotels across the country. We are platinum elite members of the Marriott chain. We’ve seen a lot of great and terrible hotels. I’d rank this one around average. The pros and cons balance each other out.
The rooms were outstanding and were super clean. The staff was friendly and aloud us to check in early. But above all else I am a combat veteran and the town had a fireworks show the night after Thanksgiving and the staff put me and my needs first. I can't thank you enough for giving my family a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
The lady at check in was absolutely amazing! She was so nice and helpful! The location is great, walking distance to shopping and multiple food options. The rooms are very clean and I loved the love seat area, very comfortable!
Very nice visit, but watch your speed, its only 25 mph and you will get a ticket by photo if your doing 36 like i did. $40 ticket. The hotel is brand new so everything is nice of course. The breakfast is overpriced. Very polite staff.
A great option in glenwood springs. Typically fir a courtyard no free breakfast but the hotel is clean, has nice sitting areas, an indoor pool and hot tub, nice views. A bit outside town but so walkable to town but and easier bikeride. Decent fitness room as well. Would definitely recommend.
As someone who travels quite frequently I'd have to say this Marriott is definitely worth it for a good stay. The room was great the bed was comfy the pillows were perfect. The shower had the right amount of pressure. For management, if the town has a special event, you should schedule one additional staff member to help cover the front desk. The kid did a great job who was there, however you could see he could have use an extra hand. Get the customers taken care of quicker, less stress for everyone.
Could use a little sprucing up. pool was quite cold and both nights had no towels. Had light bulbs needing replacing. Over all clean i would stay here again
